Sustainability at Fire Eater

At Fire Eater, we take sustainability seriously. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and ensuring responsible production, supported by our ISO 14001-certified environmental management system.

Initiatives for a Greener Future

We actively involve our employees in the green transition. An internal initiative has given everyone the opportunity to contribute sustainability proposals, which are reflected in several concrete actions for the coming year, including:

  • Minimizing paper consumption
  • Developing a company car policy focused on environmentally friendly vehicles
  • Optimizing our buildings’ climate shields in dialogue with property owners
  • Local sourcing of bottles and/or filling to reduce transportation’s environmental impact
  • Internal energy savings through simple, effective measures
  • Reviewing chemicals in our chemical database to optimize handling and usage

CO₂ Footprint of a Fire Eater System

We have commissioned a CO₂ footprint report mapping the environmental impact of our fire suppression systems throughout their entire lifecycle. The report identifies high-impact processes, allowing us to continuously reduce our climate footprint.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

Our sustainability strategy is rooted in the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

  • Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth
  • Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production

We are continuously working to quantify our sustainability initiatives and measure their impact through our environmental certification.
