discreetly placed to ensure full room coverage without affecting daily operations.
MRI scanner rooms – built for magnetic safety
MRI scanners require non-magnetic, interference-free installations. Fire Eater has developed
specialised solutions to meet these strict requirements:
Wooden enclosures with copper mesh shield the scanner from magnetic disturbance.
Wave-guard conduits provided by the MRI contractor guide nozzles safely into the room, using 3D-printed plastic fittings to ensure a perfect, magnet-safe fit.

If a fire occurs, the Inergen system is activated automatically and typically extinguishes the fire within 40 seconds and at the same time prevents re-ignition.
The fire is extinguished by Inergen lowering the oxygen level in the protected area. The low oxygen level suffocates the fire before it develops.
