Inergen consists of 100% natural gases. Therefore, it leaves no consequential damage to equipment and requires no cleaning unlike traditional water-based solutions and foams. Fire Eater’s Inergen systems use sensitive detectors that respond automatically to fire and release Inergen via nozzles located in the ceiling.
The system employs so-called ‘3D-extinguishing’. This means that the gas – released under pressure – spreads throughout the warehouse – under shelves and stacks, behind cupboards, in electrical panels and in rubbish bins.
